A letter from the Superintendent
about funding reductions and future budget cuts

International Baccalaureate
at Bartow High School

For Our Students-Community Service Requirements

9th and 10th grade Pre-IB students are required to perform 20 hours of Cultural and Community Awareness activities before they are admitted to the IB Program.

IB juniors and seniors participate in C.A.S. They must complete 150 hours of Creativity, Action, and Service prior to March 31 of their graduating year as one of the eligibility requirements for the IB Diploma.

CAS forms are available on the School Forms page of this site.

All students may also participate in the Polk County Community Service Program at Bartow High and earn possible class credit; these are the hours that must be completed for students to receive the Florida Academic Scholar or other graduation awards.
